I didn't see this anywhere, but find it might be worth mentioning.

Problem:
When creating or adding element to an idea space often the
space auto-adjusts to allow for new elements. I can turn this
off one space at a time but not set it as default for new idea
spaces requiring me to set this each time.

Suggestion:
Add a default option or similar would be quite useful when
working with many idea spaces, in my particular cases usually
over 35 spaces in a given project.

After you change the Auto-Adjust Vertically/Horizontally popups to Manually just click the Save As Default button to make those settings the new defaults for new idea spaces you create.
