Hi,
I just realized, that if I want to move objects with the arrow keys, I can choose to hold shift for fine vs. none for coarse moving. Unfortunately it's not the same for vertical and horizontal! Shift for horizontal means "fine" but for vertical it's the opposite!! Did I miss something, or is this a "bug"? Is it possible to make it the same for both directions?
Thanks,
Chris |

Arrow keys go fine and Shift-arrow is coarse.
However, if you have a grid enabled then arrow keys go with the grid and Shift-arrow goes one pixel at a time.
Sounds like, in your case, you have a vertical grid snap enabled (see your Background inspector). So arrow keys move objects along the grid and Shift-arrow will move them one pixel. |

ahhh, got it - thanks for the quick help!
Maybe it would be better to change it, so shift-arrow would always be and stay "fine" regardless of the "snap grid" checkmark. Arrow keys without shift would be "coarse" or "grid" depending what you want...
Just a thought... |
