I have just noticed that using a DUPLICATE function (command-D) on an Idea Space replaces the clipboard with a copy of the Idea Space.
Is this the standard MacOS way DUPLICATE is to act? I would almost prefer that DUPLICATE does its work without disturbing the current contents of the clipboard.
