|

Hmmm... lately Curio seems to be positioning text boxes *lower* in relation to the mouse cursor.
Previously, new text boxes seemed to be centered (vertically) to the mouse cursor. Now when I click, the text box starts at the vertical mid-point of the cursor, and extends down below the cursor.
Did I change some setting to make this happen? |

Any chance you are (a) typing on a grid-enabled idea space, in which case it might try to position the cursor to the closest horizontal grid line, or (b) you have changed the default text figure to something with a custom font and/or line height size?
You can quickly test point #a by choosing Organizer > New Blank Idea space and checking to see if the text position is correct.
You can test point #b by quitting Curio, temporarily moving your ~/Library/Preferences/com.zengobi.curio.plist file to your Desktop, then relaunching Curio.
Let me know what you discover.
The blinking text cursor should roughly line up with the text mouse pointer where the little horizontal line on the mouse pointer is inline with the baseline of the new text figure. |

That indeed was it! I turned off the snapping to the grid, and the problem was solved! Thank you for your brilliance! (though I assume that goes along with being the creator of the program ) |
