I think this fix should be pretty easy!
File > Page Setup, and adjust your layout to portrait or landscape as needed. It's easy to switch back and forth depending on which idea spaces you're printing--there's nothing permanent about this change.
Then, once you export or print to PDF, the pages will be in the orientation of your choice.
Now, depending on what you like you have options. Personally, when dealing with PDFs, I prefer to keep the printout to one page, which is the default option, because it's easy to zoom in. Even when you zoom super far in, your text is still completely readable. If you're actually printing, or just want to have multiple pages, you'll likely want to UNcheck this option (called "fit each idea space to a single printed page"). Your resulting PDF or printout will then spread across multiple pages.
If you'd like to make sure that an important figure isn't right over a page break, you can go to View > Show Page breaks, and then they'll show up on your idea space. |
