George, Curio already has a good start on this. Being able to start typing anywhere. Different structures for different purposes or styles.
I would encourage anything that absolutely minimized the need to go to menus or the Shelf or an inspector while capturing thoughts (brainstorming) and notes. Anytime I need to go to the menu or Shelf breaks my train of thought. You have good KB shortcuts for creating figures.
Here are a couple other areas which have been mentioned separately. I offer them as examples because creative people might have some great other ideas.
- KB shortcut for highlighting text
- KB shortcut for adding a note to an object (rather than needing to reveal the Shelf, go to the Inspector, etc.)
You already have some good KB shortcuts like Zoom (though I prefer gestures - at least as an option) and increasing/decreasing font size. All good. Anything that reduces or eliminates going to the Shelf while taking notes or brainstorming is great! |
