Just curious ... any comments on whether/how Curio 8 might be adapted to take advantage of newer/better features in Mountain Lion, which will be out next month?

| Curio 8 is designed for Lion and Mountain Lion deployment. Are you looking for something specific? The Twitter/Facebook integration? |

Not really that.
What interests me more are the security revisions that are required to support external scripting.

| The new entitlements for sandboxed apps? I'm mainly focused on the traditional (non-sandboxed) version of Curio, currently. So it shouldn't be restricted in any way. |

Thanks. I thought apps are now required to be sandboxed to be distributed on the app store?

Perhaps a little off topic but not entirely…
…any updates on an eta for the new version? No rush, just curious. |

With regard to Mountain Lion preparation.
I believe Mountain Lion is more than the OS itself, but an evolving framework that leverages Cloud computing.
Toward this end, Curio 8 should be cloud capable. This paradyne goes beyond compatibility with a single product (e.g. Devonthink, iPad, etc.). Curio information/documents should be capable of easily integrating with any document and on any platform (Android and IOS).
There are a number of vehicles that can be leveraged to make this happen. Evernote, PDF document format.........
Curio is my number one application alongside Leap. It would be great to have my composition work anywhere/everywhere, and to leverage common business processes with ease (task sharing with Toodledo, Reminders.....calendar sharing with Google Calendar as well as others).
Really looking forward to Curio 8. |
