Have you given any thought to supplementing the Mind Mapping functionality with Concept Mapping? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concept_map A huge limitation in Mind Mapping is the strict hierarchical organization. Concept mapping allows topics to be related to one another freely, making them far more powerful.
The approach I've been using is to use IHMC CmapTools (freeware: http://cmap.ihmc.us ) to create a concept map, embed the file into a curio project, and then create a quick screenshot of it and embed the screenshot as well. When I need to update it, I reopen the file, and take a new screenshot. It works, but it's a bit cumbersome. It would completely rock my world if CmapTools functionality could be embedded into curio natively. |

| I make maps like this all the time with text figures or stencils, or even index cards--simply command click after typing in a figure of your choice, and you'll create an attached figure of the same type. |
