It appears that you can add a "progress" checkbox to a mindmap element but you cannot enter a "%complete" for that same checkbox.
Is that the correct behavior or is it a bug?

The completion percentage for an item with children nodes is determined by the completion percentage of the child items.

If the item does not have any children, then you can set the %complete for it.

Does that make sense?

Yes.

I took each one as a single entity, didn't think about them being connected.
