Is it possible to change the default font?

As an example I notice that text boxes always use Helvetica and I would them to be Verdana. Its unnecessary work to keep changing the font every time I open a new text box

Thanks.

Configure a text figure the way you wish them to default, font and figure settings, then choose Format : Set as Default Style for Text Figures from the main menu.

You can set up different defaults for different types of figures: text, pdf, image, movie, etc.

I cannot save some text settings, font and line height, to a Mind Map Style. Change those settings and Save as ... but new settings won't store in the style file. I found out that I can change fonts by editing .curioStyle then import it. But still, no idea to set a custom line height. Can you give me an advice?

Ah, for a mind map figure you are trying to define the style for a particular level. You can find the complete details in the Curio User Manual accessible via the Help menu. You want the section called Defining Mind Map Styles.
