Zengobi Announces Curio Deployment at the Chadwick International School
Zengobi Encourages Creativity in the Classrooms at South Korea's New, State-of-the-Art Academic Facility
RALEIGH, NC — February 8, 2011 — Zengobi today announced that Curio 7, their integrated note taking and brainstorming application for Mac OS X, has been deployed across all student laptops at the Chadwick International School, in Songdo, South Korea. Chadwick International School represents one of the most technologically advanced school facilities in the world and includes a 1-to-1 Mac student laptop program and TV production studio. It is located in the heart of Songdo, an idealized, utopian, brand-new, master-planned city in the newly created Incheon Free Economic Zone in South Korea.
"One of the biggest challenges for building student-centered 21st century learning environments which focus on collaboration, higher order thinking skills, and creativity is finding a software application that can not only bring together the wide range of media which is utilized and created, but also manage collaborative projects from start-to-finish," said Gary Donahue, Educational Technology Integration Specialist at Chadwick International. "With integrated features such as project management, mind mapping, presentation, mixed media, and Evernote and Google Docs support, Curio is like having a suite of student-friendly applications all rolled into one beautiful application. There is simply no other single application out there that can do what Curio can deliver today. As more schools around the world look to build authentic 21st century learning environments, I see Curio as being one of those essential building blocks to ensuring that this environment can flourish."
"We are delighted and honored that Chadwick International has selected Curio as a key software component for their world-class academic facility," said George Browning, Founder of Zengobi. "The goal of Curio has always been to stimulate and encourage creativity and learning, which meshes perfectly with Chadwick's mission for their students."
Zengobi is also announcing a new Curio Professional K-12 Annual Site License program, so that all primary and secondary academic facilities can purchase and deploy Curio at a very low price. Details can be found at www.zengobi.com/k12.
Curio is the premier note taking, mind mapping, brainstorming, and task management application for Mac OS X designed to promote visual thinking.
