Tutorini: Spread PDF

Friday, October 10, 2008

I've just posted our first mini tutorial — a tutorini, if you will — on the main Curio page. This video introduces the Spread PDF feature in Curio 5. It also touches on a few other subjects such as creating idea spaces, adding assets, positioning figures, and creating text figures.

More tutorinis will be posted as quickly as possible...

  • Thanks so much for the tutorini!!! Very nicely done.

    This kind of short, target presentation will really help people use Curio more effectively, or help new people to decide to buy Curio.

    Although I've used the Spread PDF option a lot, I had no idea about the cool "multiple pages" on one idea space "trick" you showed. That's great to know about, and can be extremely useful. Very cool.

  • That was really good. Even though I'm already using Spread PDF, the n-pages-per-idea-space thing was new to me. This confirms my belief that Curio is the TiVo of Mac applications - it is so powerful and is such a quantum leap in how you _can_ use your Mac that you need some concrete examples to discover what it can do for you. Well done! More tutorinis, please.

    P.S. If we're going to be so Italianate about it, perhaps the singular should be _tutorino_ and the plural _tutorini_ (think gelato/gelati). (-;

  • Love the tutorini. I am just starting to use Curio and i find screencasts and things like that really helpful. It's so easy to miss the little tips and tricks. It really shows how powerful the program is.
